Would Texas dps trooper see a Houston police warrant?

Ok I have my regular Texas state ID and I want to get my drivers license. Now I thought a had a warrant with HPD but a Harris county sherrif ran my ID and didn't see anything. If I go try to get my license will I be ok or can dps see a Houston police warrant even if the sherrifs can't?
