I would like to know...?

I guess I do not understand how humans can be OK with abortions. Any form of human life has value, whether he/she has downsyndrome, mental or physical disabilities, or is not fully developed (a fetus). It IS a human life! How can it be OK to destroy that? Does anyone believe in the sanctity of human life anymore? It saddens me to know so many people can do this legally. Yes it is a womans body, but it is also another life within her. Also.. I recently heard in the news of a horrible incident where a pregnant women lost her baby due to violence done to her and the man was charged with murder of the unborn baby... Why is it then considered murder and abortion isn't? In both situations you are ending up with the same consequence.. A dead child.
