Keep my soundcard? Or take it out?

So I have a micro ATX Gigabyte motherboard and my Radeon HD 4670 takes up two slots. So my Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE is literally half of a millimeter away from touching my video card. This causes the video card to heat up intensely because the sound card partially covers the fan. However, my sound card is needed because without it I can't hear anything!!!!!
