How does destroying the rich help the poor?

The left is NOT endorsing the destruction of the rich. The left IS endorsing a rebuilding of the middle cl. The policies put in place in the eighties that favor the rich have contributed to the erosion of the middle cl, and since the middle cl is the largest block of consumers that contributes to the erosion of this country economically. New policies need to be adopted. We need a return to demand side economics.
